This course of literature is aimed at students in the final three years of secondary school or technical schools which include the study of literature on the syllabus.

It is made up of four volumes:
- Littèrama Clefs de lecture
- Littèrama Moyen-Âge – XVIIIe
- Littèrama XIXe
- Littèrama XXe

The fundamental aim of the series is not only to ensure the students’ complete knowledge and criticism of the main stages of French literature from the Mediaeval to the 20th century, but also the acquisition of reading and writing techniques (summaries, comments) starting with literary texts or newspaper articles.

Littèrama XXe gives a panorama of the literary production from the century stated in the title, linked to the social, historical and contemporary artistic contexts. Attention to the cultural aspects is combined with numerous activities which summarise the criteria for the systematic analysis of texts presented in the first volume. The volume is accompanied by an audio CD with some of the anthological extracts from the book and Fiches Chronologiques, thematiques e di histoire de l’art from which the teacher can organise multidisciplinary and modular study paths. The Teacher’s Book (Livre du professeur) contains the solutions to all of the activities.
